FSSC 22000 is specifically targeted to the food manufacturing sector and is intended for the certification of manufacturers and processors of food ingredients and food products. The FSSC scheme is based on the internationally recognized standard ISO 22000 and ISO/Technical Specification (TS) 22002-1, Prerequisite Programs on Food Safety – Part 2: Requirements and Certification. Explore this complete certification scheme for food safety systems and prepare to transition your food safety management system to FSSC 22000 version 4.1.

 

Prerequisite(s): An understanding of the application of HACCP principles is essential.

 

Participants must bring their copy of the ISO 22000:2005 standard and ISO/TS 22002-1:2009 to this training program. These can be purchased through the International Organization for Standardization (ISO, www.iso.org) and the Canadian Standards Association (CSA, www.shop.csa.ca).
